Today we used Photoshop to create our own CD case, we used several elements and tools of the software to create the image.
Our first task was to crop the image of the CD and removed the surrounding image. We achieved this by using the elliptical marquee tool. We then moved onto the background. We uploaded an image onto the background layer. Our third objective was to create a third layer and uploaded an image of a French Horn. We then used the colour balance tool to change and blend in the original colours on the images.
Our next task was to alter the background. We managed this by using the distort wave tool. This made the image more interesting and made it stand out. We also lowered the opacity on the images to make them seem less dominant.
Our next objective was to use the text tool. I used the colour tool and used the inner shadow tool to create the mixer of colour in the writing.
After all this objectives were completed I got the final result of my CD case.
