This a DVD and Blu-Ray sleeve for the 2007 film 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street'.
The Front cover: The sleeves front cover is the poster of the film. Usually a DVD/Blu-ray posters included ratings and comments from critics, in this case a 5 star rating has been given by 'The Mail On Sunday'.
The leading star or the directors name is also featured, depending on there success or fame. DVD's and Blu-Ray's released in the UK are given an age rating by the 'BBFC' (British Board Film Classification)
The Side Cover: This is the side cover for the 2012 film 'The Dark Knight Rises'. The disc format logo is shown on the top left. The title of the film has been added in vertically to fit in, so the costumer can see the title from the side, this is so retailers has the capacity to fit in my copy's. Below the title the 'BBFC' logo is shown again, so the costumer knows the age rating before buying the DVD or Blu-Ray. The distributer, in this case 'Warner Bros.' is also included in the side cover.
The Back Cover/Blurb: This is the back cover for the 2012 film. 'Django Unchained' The blurb is written on the top. A blurb is usually a piece of text under one hundred words that gives an synopsis about the film. The cast and director are highlighted in a bold font, so that it caches the costumers eyes. Special features are sometimes included such as making of documentary's and deleted scenes. The studio logos are featured below the cast and crew credits. The 'BBFC' rating appears again onscreen with the content described in the text box. The irish film censors office rating is shown next to the BBFC rating. At the bottom right hand of the sleeve is the retail bar-code.
